that's fantastic might whip up the road and check it out, I live 200 meters from the flag gives me warm and fuzzies every time I take my dog for a walk up there. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been to see the flag and monuments now hosted at MADE

I see they had a memorial function at the graves on Saturday. Today is the anniversary!

There was an article in the Ballarat Courier about the service at the graves last saturday.

Called in at the Ballarat Art Gallery recently but it seems they have moved the flag(or what's left of it at least) out to the Stockade, probably as part of the anniversary remembrance.
It's an awesome piece of history, a powerful reminder of our history.
Recommend anyone that hasn't yet seem it to make the effort ... if it's displayed as it was at the Art Gallery you can't help but be moved.
