Hi folks,

just a question for you Perth based people, I'm off to the big smoke tomorrow which is way way way out of my comfort zone.
Heading to a place called Maddington. Any traffic dramas or anything I should be aware of?

Cheers,

Steve

you will be fine mate
1 - keep your doors locked
2 - windows wound up
3 - hide your wallet and phone
4 - be careful where you buy food it might be dog or cat
5 - red means stop
6 - orange means speed up you might make it before it turns red but watch for safety cameras
7 - green means go
8 - sorry but you cant carry a bigger knife
apart from that city life is good mate

Hi Steve you will be rite it is way out on the out skirts no where near the city itself. you should have a good run. regards mark.

Madtuna,

Perth is nearly as bad as all the above posters have stated lol
All will be ok have fun enjoy the trip to the big smoke( well a big sprawling mess of traffic ) lol.....
It was a bit cold there last week....
You should be fine

Dont talk to people you dont know. Where I come from its just polite to do that but in Perth they think its weird and get uncomfortable. Maybe its just me ?

Never been but im sure theres no more nutjobs there than any other city

Made it there and back.... what a nightmare, won't be doing that again in a hurry.
Some low life bugger even stole the 4 stubbies out of the esky in the back of my ute!

I did boldly hit speeds approaching 100kph which felt a bit naughty :D

Perth Driving school instructors should do some of their training in Ireland.
120kmh on their motorways, traffic merges and leaves with no disruption to traffic flow. (A real eye opener compared to our 50kmh or less freeways here.)
Was a little apprehensive tackling the motorways in 2018 during our 1500km drive around Ireland.
The drivers are courteous and did not see one incident of road rage.
