Out dated? Thoughts

Just surfing the site and came across this as you can see the date of this topic is out dated however the part I find interesting is it started as a closed topic. Also the moderators listed has me intrigued, why create such a topic and what moderator function do they perform?.

The goldmaps and resources section is still here.

Nugget used to own the forum but no longer does and is not a mod, he drops in occasionally.

WalnLiz used to mod here and were contributors of good information.

Golddigg@ is still here but is no longer a mod, I started modding when he stepped down to persue his prospecting supplies business.

Thanks for the info Heatho can you enlighten us to the purpose of the topic. From what you've explained I'm assuming it was to simply explain who moderated this particular topic section of the forum.
