I came across this 1 a few weeks ago on a www.abc.net.au/news/rural
An article I think was exploration for diamonds by either Argyle Diamonds or POZ Minerals.
Apparently using 'XRT Technology' (whatever that stands for) to do Electromagnetic Surveys.
I think we are getting left behind in the tech stakes .... time to upgrade fellas :goldnugget: :pickshovel: :gemstone:

sorry about the resolution. photo of a printout

XRT is X-Ray Transmission and is used for sorting diamonds, that coil has nothing to do with XRT

I have a picture in my head of them bobbing that thing up and down to ground balance. :playful:

If we had the radio altimeter set too sensitive in the helicopter when we were hunting submarines, the helo would bob up and down as it followed the swells as they were passing under the rad-alt. Some got sea sick from it.
