Finally got the chance to get out to the Bush for a look around today as we had over 400mm of rain in the past 2 weeks. The creek was flowing pretty hard. So I walked up above the creek to a couple of old mines and a area that had been cut out the mountain that looked like it was a working area. There a lots of solid peices of metal scattered around. If someone knows what this is id like to know.
. Also there is a pit made out of rock cemented together anyone's thoughts on what they made this for.
. After a while detecting and finding more bits of metal i found this old green bottle. Cast on one side is udolpho wolfe's. The next is aromatic schnapps. And the third side is schiedam.
. It was good to go exploring whilst the creek is up. Hopefully next time I might find some gold.
