Hi all,

Lemming_1 here, should know me from the Commadore 64 era

I woke up a couple of weeks ago with an itch for metal detecting - must be all the gold shows on Discovery channel or something. That is when I googled my way onto this forum and it was really incredible how much and how useful the posts of these members are. Both in terms of finding the right detector and figuring out whether you are a coin shooter or a gold digger - this is an important choice when picking the right detector.

Long story short, I don't think that there is a single post on coin shooting that I haven't read and I can say the same about the Garrett and Minelab posts.

Thank you everyone for lifting the veil on this incredible hobby!

I called you out? I was just trying to help by reminding everyone that ya need ten posts to be eligible. This stops people joining just to have the chance ti win the competitions.

Don't worry, I stuffed up myself by editing my own post. Thus making myself ineligible :8

I also got the gold bug via tv shows. Mostly Gold Rush as it was the first.
Happy that you are enjoying the forum and finding it useful. There surely is a huge amount of quality information to be found here.

Yes, read the comments about your edit, was quite funny. Must've been laughing when I was supposed to read the rules.

Anyway I hope that Nugget can forgive me my sins and let me participate in future draws. If not, I'd still be reading the forum, because it is real good stuff!
