I actually have made something a little more advanced than the trusty spoon and screwdriver but that's top secret ;)

Hey! I'm also a notable member if you don't mind!! :awful:

I have the largest junk and lead collection in the detecting game, and I'm also in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most amount of effort for the least reward. Some respect please!

One product should not makem a cockroach..... they sell plenty of quality detecting and prospecting gear, just have to look at their catalogue .
I had a good purchasing experience when I bought this sand scoop a few years back.

I have to admit that the yanks can make some awesome quality gear.
I hear what ur saying about supporting Aussie manufacturers and resellers, but sometimes you just cant source local stuff.
Nenad gets most of my business.

The point of this post was just to point out how this forum has attracted a pretty big player to our backyard.

Cane toads & cockroaches. QLD v NSW thing.

Yes Kellyco are a huge retailer with a huge range of products plenty of that are good. They also sell more than one product that isn't in the good category as do most big retailers
The majority of mainstream manufacturer products they sell are available here?
I don't see any benefit in them once you factor in exchange rates & shipping unless it's a completely unavailable in Australia niche product. I'd exhaust every local or national Australian avenue before considering them. Just my opinion.
Plenty of good gear available here from Australian suppliers, manufacturers & site sponsors/members too. :Y:

I don't believe we need to support another offshore retail giant. We do enough of it already.

I think if they can demonstrate that the abilities of a product live up to the claims made about its performance then they are within their rights to sell said Item. If not then they are just as bad if not worse than Old Mate on Ebay that trys to flog a Chinese ripoff of a reputable machine :argh:
