Greetings All. A new member here and introducing myself. I'm a South Aussie who now looks across the border in Victoria for prospecting, because there's bugger all left in SA (that I know of anyway). My prospecting partner and I look at getting over there every month or two. I've got a GPX 6000 and he has an Equinox 900. Most of the gold I've found to date has been from panning, so I'm looking forward to a good find or two with the rather expensive 6000, to justify the purchase. My prospecting mate is confident there are sources of gold left in the Flinders Ranges here in SA, but I'm not totally convinced, so it will be over the border as usual until information comes in sufficient to motivate us to head north to the Flinders instead.
