Hi all, like most people in here, just having a look, I have always been attracted to prospecting but never taken the plunge.
Our father had organised a week away prospecting when we where kids but never happened.
I think the attraction is more so just doing it not so much finding anything, only a bonus if I did.
Anyhow off to have a look around.

Thanks for the welcome, I am in Brisbane, so SE QLD will be my stomping ground for now I think.
Off to have a look around ? Just meant this forum, for now as I have no idea or gear, well I have a shovel.
This does look like a very contagious hobby.
So I have lots of threads to read and questions to ask, like where is all the gold and what is the best detector to buy?
