Newbie to the yellow stuff

Hi all
New to the detecting game , just moved to Kalgoorlie and excited to get out and about on the hunt. Will be using a Whites TDI Pro and a GMT . Both machines were my pops who has recently passed. He spent 30 odd yrs prospecting mainly in FNQ , Georgetown , Forsayth area with plenty of finds . Hope to continue his good form

Welcome Joshh78, sorry to hear of your pop passing away, you are most welcome to the forum. I'm sure you will carry on with your pops legacy searching for gold, you certainly have some great detectors to get started with.

I also worked up Georgetown way for a while, great area for prospecting, and a great part of the country.
