Newbie near Cooma - Looking to get into Gold Detecting

Hi, I retired 4 years ago and moved to a property outside Cooma. We have quite a bit of quartz on our place and wondered if there might be any gold around. When we did some research we seem to have landed by accident in some very serious gold country. Absolutely new to this so lots to learn and very grateful for access to this site.

What you need to do is get past 10 post, then the forum restrictions lift and you have access to the members area .
Dont be shy to ask questions , there are some great members with a lot of experience and knowledge on here ( not me ) and a good bunch of admins that are always ready and willing to help.
