Newbie Looking to find his first nugget

Hi everyone glad to be part of the team.
I am very good at finding gold rings but am yet to find a nugget.

The main thing is time on the ground. No matter which detector you have, or whether you're panning or sluicing or highbanking, the more you look and the more dirt you move, the better your chance of finding one.

Also the more time you spend looking the better you get at reading the landscape and creeks.

Lol. Very easy to find gold rings but from what I hear it is alot harder to find gold.
