Mate there is so much good info on here i've been reading for a couple of days straight and i think my head is gonna explode but everyone seems very keen to help the new guys

first thing first get out & learn to use your gold pan properly, saves a lot of lost gold & buy a good back while your at it.
go hard & enjoy yourself it's a great place & apart from a few things not much bites around here.

Get yourself into the smokers club at Coiltek in Maryborough and they will tell you where all the gold was got last week. LOL
other wise get a map of the local area and go for a drive and check the area out. Get a handle on what happened and where and you will soon paint a picture as to where you should have a look see.
