Hi, new to fossicking.....I live west of dalby and have a dry creek bed running beside our house...have discovered a few gems but unsure what I have found as I try google but they can be a number of things as they look so alike. So hoping I can learn more about rocks/ gems from this forum. So far I know we have quartz, agate, think someone said maybe garnets plus a friend panned and found a few gold flakes.... Will post photos in appropriate topics when I can.
