New to the site and prospecting.

Hi I'm new to prospecting and fossicking, but I'm looking forward to listening and welcome any advice.

we are going to Thanes Creek tomorrow this will be our first ever. If any one is going their tomorrow feel free to give advice to the newbie family.

we have no idea what to do so we will be up all night watching the youtube clips.

Hi Anlopa, welcome. You will enjoy your time at Thanes, nice gold country. I don't know how much rain they have had cos it's a pretty dry / dusty area.

Thanks for the replays guys. I am really looking forward to it.
We are camping at Glendon camping ground and hiring the gear off them.

Just a question can you remove dirt to pan at home? only a bucket we wasn't thinking of dredging or anything.

Brilliant Thank you Jaros, just looking at the roads on google earth. I think my little car is going to get a good work out tomorrow. looks like a 4x4 is more practical :8
