Hi,
I am new to prospecting and I have a Minelab GTX4500 but have no idea how to use it.
If anyone from the Mackay area is keen to help out, that would be great.

Welcome to P.A. Why did you get a 4500, did you research it.
Jaros :p

Hi Jaros,
Actually, my father purchased it some 5-6 years ago and never used it (because he has not a clue how to operate)
He is asking me to figure out how to use it so I can teach him.

I am not sure why he purchased this particular model.
I know he wants to find gold with it.

thanks

Welcome digger. The 4500 is perfect for where you're from enhanced soil timings will serve you well. These days with the new elite coils theres little benefit in the 5000 over the 4500. My advice is pick a coil and stick with it. The 10 or 11 inch commander coil is a great mono sensitive coil. If you have that keep it on and learn it.

Anyone know how to use the 4500 Minelab.
I either have a damaged unit, or i have no idea how to work it. probably the later.
