Hi everyone. I am in my sixties and have been metal detecting of and on for 20 years or so, I started when the groundhog was the micky mouse, I then bought a scorpion followed by a SD2000 which I still use. The scorpion I only use for beach & parks.

They were a great machine in their day and i christened mine at the Good Friday diggings near Tibbooburra.(ahh the good old days). Sadly sold it, and wish it was still in my detector collection for memories sake.
Good to see the the bug is still taking hold, and i'm sure you have some great memories and stories from days gone bye. Hope the forum adds to the adventure and look forward to sharing some tales. All the very best of luck out there mate.
