Hi team,
Im Zac from Ballarat.
I am born and raised in Ballarat with some family history from the Harrietville and surrounds with many family members working the reefs and dredges in that area from late 1800's onwards.
I read a story in this forum about a man restoring the battery from the Mitta Mitta, I would love to get in contact with him as I'm pretty certain that this mine was part of the family many years ago.
The gold fever seemed to have skipped a few generations and picked back up with myself. It just took me a little while to realise this..!
