New gold shop Ballarat

I was just down buying a pizza for dinner and noticed there's a new gold detecting shop setting up in Ballarat on the main drag through to Bunninyong, directly opposite Sovereign Hill. Signs on window say opening soon? I think its called The Gold Centre but not sure.

To keep it on topic, any clues as to what the store may be? Is it sales of equipment or more a museum jewellery..etc?

No looks like they're selling picks etc. Probably end up hiring and that i imagine? Pretty basic layout but competition is a good thing and it's within walking distance if the weather ever warms a little :lol: Mate, i only kill about two trout a year and no nugs that i know of :lol:

Yeah its called "The Gold Supply" owned by James Keays, president of the Ballarat branch of the PMAV.
He's been setting up for a few weeks, was meant to be open by now though but has been held up a little but if he is there & you need something then you can get it, I got a small CC Pick a bit over a week ago from him.
Shop should look good when done, has a dirt floor with quarts reef running through it & a small panning area as well.
He will have coils, pans, picks etc & will be adding more as he goes along, there is a Facebook page & group as well.
