Just joined the group, looking forward to a bit of research on here.
I've never tried the hobby before but I'm sure I'm going to find it fun
If there's anybody in the Wonga Park Vic area willing to teach a new guy some basics and show me some of the equipment needed and some spots close to home it would be muchly appreciated.

Welcome Adam , everything you need to know to get started is already written somewhere on this forum. 3/4 of the fun is finding it, much like looking for gold & gems actually. Or just ask, someone usually knows what direction to point you, enjoy!
