Never too old to start

My name is Bob & I live in S E Melbourne. The better half, Deb (pictured in the photo) is my travelling partner in crime, so hopeful she will become interested in prospecting as well.

Have decided to try this out as I have found it quite an interesting & challenging task. My dad used to have a detector when he was alive.

Looking at purchasing my first detector very soon & have found the information here quite helpful.

Many thanks for the welcomes. Not far off 60 myself. Currently doing up the kitchen to keep myself busy on weekends & will soon want to get back out, hence becoming involved in prospecting.
