Dunno, though silver has long been used as a remedy for killing pathogens as colloidal silver.
Throughout history silver has been associated with beneficial health effects for the human body, ie, during the middle ages the upper classes who used mainly silver cutlery were somewhat spared the severity of the Bubonic plague. They inadvertently ingested silver from the utensils they ate from.... the nano particles of silver in their bloodstream being antiviral and antibacterial is supposed to have given them some protection from the plague.
Heard of the term blue bloods ?.... too much silver in the bloodstream causes the skin to appear bluish.

Colloidal Silver is all ways in my first aid bag.... for a multitude of uses, from the first sign of a sore throat to sterilising a wound or treating burns.
Not sure if gold has the same properties...

A month ago I lost a good friend and successful prospector to cancer Another good mate (non prospector) invited me to come live here on his property to help out just told me it's spread from his bowl to his blood, rubbed his gums and showed me blood.

i am with you on the colloidal silver OssieAu it is good gear, take it for a few weeks before a operation and you will not get any staph infections from the hospital :Y:
