Trying to figure out what this item might be.....rein guide for an old sulky perhaps....any help or ideas would be appreciated. Cheers

Tie down for rope... old sulky etc... nice length on the thread. I usually find
them snapped off and much shorter on the thread end.

Dray was a word I was looking for. A sort of ute/light truck from horse drawn times lol

I reckon it's a reins guide, I've got one that's quite worn on one side from the reins rubbing back and forth.

looks like for tie down they had a full bar along each side
