My first pre-decimal Australian coin

I dug a 1926 Australia penny this morning..... I used to walk over it, to work twice daily, over it, for 20 years!

Surprising on what you can find in your own yard, was lucky enough to find some silvers in mine a while back.

I've found a few over time..... lotta times where I'd walked over years ago.... with a detector too.... new tech hey.... what can I say !

Nice one! I dug a roo penny (1946 i think?) immediately outside the front door of the farmhouse I grew up in, 2 inches under the dirt and walked over for over half a century.

It's got a separate rich lawn and a poor lawn too for some reason, rich lawn gives me silvers, poor lawn gives me half pennies...
