My first penny

I have not been detecting for long and I know its only a penny ( 1944) but its my first penny found a small charm as well and some trash it was a very trashy site only had an hour on site will be going back to finish the area

Thanks Goldpick I have found some threepences before but this is my first penny just great when you pull it out a nd see an old coin just love it

well done roy cobb, don't worry that it's "only" a penny (i haven't found one yet), enjoy the excitement it brings to you. I think that is what i like most about detecting, the Adrenalin rush you get is like an addictive drug, but much healthier.
