My first beach find (other than coins and junk)

I went to the beach yesterday for a bit of a look about. I was detecting for about half a hour and had found a few coin and then walked up the beach a bit further
starting at a new location I ground balanced my detector and picked up a sound. So I moved a couple of feet away, finished balancing the detector and run it over the spot where I had picked up the sound. Definitely something there. So dug it up.

Couldn't find a brand name on the face after cleaning it up. There was a fair amount of scale on it but after finishing I realised it was still running and keeping good time.
I found the brand name on the back. It's called a "China"
