Hi all. I read this site quite a bit, although don't post much.

I found a couple of pre-decs last night and a amusement token down at one of my local parks.

2 x 1911 penny
1 x 1943 half penny
1 x pjp amusement token
enjoy

1911 is the oldest coin i have found...and both were found within 15min of each other

All coins were around the 4 inch mark. Although the half penny may have been a bit shallower.

I do too mate...its in great condition. All my other coppers I've found have always had a load of bumps on them.

I clean then up with a light wire brush and a quick polish all with the dremel.

Man that 1943 half penny looks to have had a real hard life, at least the penny is in very good condition - thanks for posting.

Went for a quick swing last night for around an hour.

All up around 19 coins although only totaled up to $4.60

I did end up with my second ever sixpence. This time a 1955.

And i also found a pendant, not sure if the stones are real although it is sterling silver and stamped 925 on the back.

Both items were quite deep at around 10 inches.

Good to see just about everyone is getting a bit of silver at the moment, whether it be via jewellery or pre-decs, good going.

I like the pendant. 10 inches is getting down there. Not sure I have that much commitment

I usually don't dig that much...although it was a nice signal in the silver range and was very little trash around.
Also the fact it indicated it had some depth where quite a few of the others were on the shallow side made me think it may be an old silver.
In pinpoint mode it had a nice short zap whereas a lot of trash seems quite sloppy when trying to pinpoint.

I had a high tone about 8 to 10 inches down. I'm thinking silver... dug down and a bloody padlock. Grrr
