My find by hand how do i clean what too do??

Hey hey everyone i found by hand underneth my parents house steps low set helping mum cleanup in marybirough qld how or is the best way to get cleaned or looked at for rareness? Instead any knowledge about the coin?

I can't make the date out but that's the best way to look up rareness.
As for cleaning that would depend on how rare/valuable it is.
Rare/valuable ones generally don't clean them at all - leave to an expert.
My common penny's & half penny's that are only worth a negligible amount go in my tumbler with stainless steel shot. They come up nice but it's definitely not something I'd be doing with anything that may have some worth.

Worth about 50c mate. If it's 1942..maybe $1 if its 1912...if that.....I would be getting under their house and looking for more..Nice find. :Y:

Simple answer is.... Don't clean it until you have expert advice.

Cleaning it wrong could make it worthless.
