Mothers day finds

Got a couple of finds in a park one is elwood central school badge around 1940 and the other is a pre world war one artillery badge(militia)

I'm guessing they are Vaquero finds? The artillery badge is a pretty old find for that sort of thing, have you found much else in the way of badging from that era?

They are vaquero finds and yes i have a lot of stuff from that era and before, i have just fitted it with a 10 by 12 original DD coil and im on a relearning curve again although i may end up putting the coil on my tejon, but that will mean some very deep holes both items were at the full depth of a garret pro pointer

Have you tried NEL coils on the Vaq, I had the Sharpshooter and loved that little DD, I highly rate their coils.

I have a huge nel dd, and a sef small butterfly, and a cleansweep arriving shortly, takes a while to get used to the change in discrimination though
