Mine lab Depth indicator?

Hi All,

I have searched with keywords terra depth minelab mine lab indicator etc to no avail (various combinations).

Just wondering, what is everyone's experience with the mine labs depth indicator, how accurate is it and has anyone done any actual tests?.

The accuracy can vary depending on target and ground and like the Target ID's, should never be fully trusted. Lots of junk in the matrix will make false readings alot, but most the time for coin the depth indicator is pretty spot on in most ground, if balance is set correctly.

Ive found some conditions return deep values when the target has been shallow, or vise versa too. Detectors are only a mere guide to help you determine what a target may be, if a signal is just out of coil reach, it can return a few random values as the signal isnt strong enough to analyze
