took the 705 out again today mainly to get the arm in condition for when i get a chance to take the 4500 out for a day .
spent 2 1/4 hours swingin for a heck of a lot of junk and a few good targets . probably only dug 1/3 of the signals i left the ones untouched that i was fairly sure were junk . the pic is just as i tipped the lot out of my finds bag i'll clean the coins up later and see what i got , i do know there is 2 pennies and a few silvers and one of each 1 and 2 dollar coins .

oh yeah p.s. i am researching another very old site and have it narrowed down to a few acres i have a very old local fella that i can take for a drive one day and he will pinpoint the exact location for me he thinks he can anyway .

been using mine for about 6 years , just lately seems to be well tuned in for shot gun cartridge ends and tarp eyelets . so if i ever need any of those 2 items i can get plenty of them just 5 minutes up the road .but i would trade 500 shotgun cartridges for 1 gold sov any day .
i have been using the double D lately so i might swap back to the standard old mono wont make any difference to the junk tally but just do it for a change cos i can .
i have got tea started now so i might give todays coins a scrub see what they are .

2 sixpences 1926 and1941
2 threepences 1950 and 1951
and an ugly old 2cent bit that i was hoping was something else dont know what just something other than 2cent bit

went out again sarvo for an hour . no pics . but i did trick myself for a second . i got a threepence and when i was looking at the date 1961 then i turned it around to the head side and the queens head is upside down so i thought hello this is a good un , then i turned it back and noticed i had the coin upside down . did you know that 1961 on a threepence reads the same correct way up or upside down wasnt until i cleaned it up enough to read the other writing that i could pic which was the right way up . apart from that all i got was 20 cent bit and a dollar coin and a bag full of rubish ..
