maths check please

Hi folks, sorry for my absence but rain events, bush fires and bogged vehicles have kepts me away for a bit plus recently I have been taking advantage of the saturated ground and camping out.

Just wondering if someone could double check my sums on a specific gravity test or if anyone has another formular.

I have a specimen that I'd normally just thump with the rest of my ugly specimens but this one is probably a bit too cute for the dolly pot, so I thought I might flog it off as is. If no takers I'll just whack it.

Just wanted to have my sums double/tripple checked before I put it out there.

ok.... gold and quartz only.

Dry weight....83.47

wet weight....76.53

so.........83.47 x 1.9 = 158.593

76.53 x 3.1 = 237.243

237.243 - 158.593 = 78.65 grs of gold.
