Looters out this morning

Went to glenelg beach this morning at what I thought was early 6am and saw about 7 to 8 other detectorist combing the beach. I only ended up with a grabs total of $7.25 for my efforts. Anyone one think they shat the bed this morning!

Hi,

When I am at a beach and depending on the tide I'm down there around five am and the hour before last light. Always go back to bed when you get back? Get the beach to yourself well except fisherman in the morning and late in the day most drunks etc. have either gone home, arrested or off to the pub at that time. One beach I go to has a horse riding hazard, two girls ride their horses up and down the beach first thing in the morning, especially school days. A couple of times I have had to change the "undies" after a near miss, at least now they look out for me.

Lol. I faired a bit better. I scored $10 in loose change, a silver ring, a pair of earnings and a childs ring. And I started at 5am in the rain.

Must say. The kids loved me and the pirate treasure story I was swinging for.
