We decided this morning that we should start making plans for some time away, so have made a tentative booking at a Maryborough Vic caravan park starting in late August. We were told that there is hope that the restrictions on the use of the caravan parks will be eased at the end of May, so our booking has been made and we are looking forward to hopefully a trip and the chance of some more gold if we are lucky. There has to be some chance of this crappy 2020 getting better towards the end. :argh: :argh:

So at present it looks very much like our planned trip will have to be put on hold, why can't people do the right thing and follow the simple rules, we have been basically in isolation since it all started, only going out for Doctors appointments and one day trip down the Coast when restrictions were lifted, wife does essential shopping and always wears a mask and has been laughed at for wearing it, but she commented today that a lot more people were wearing them when she had to go to town for an appointment made 5 months ago. :awful: :awful: :awful:

Saw a bloke this afternoon wearing a gas mask at our local IGA, haven't seen that extreme since March early April. On reflection he's looking after himself and his family :Y: there are quite a few who travel from here to the northern suburbs for work. I travel through a lot of Victoria and don't see 5% of the masks as was the case in the early days.

It's a disappointment this 2nd wave was allowed to grow legs  ]:D the best we can do now is self isolate. It was difficult with the 1st episode and I doubt it will be any easier the 2nd time round. Truth is people by virtue of habit are sick and tired of restrictions. As a result because of the lazy and selfish people in society we won't be seeing an end to this in the next 12 months imo. Dont even think about overseas travel for at least 2 years. Armageddon in the way of financial stress hasn't even surfaced yet the next 12 months will be ugly.

A lot of those not working on sunny days are doing day trips to country towns spreading the virus.
I noticed a 90% increase in Day tripper tourists from Melbourne invading an outer area to day, social distancing? No evidence of it, copped abuse from a shopper who wanted to que jump me, she was confused at why i was 1.5 metres away from the customer ion front of me.

Forget your pitchforks.... petition your mayors to implement roadblocks with proof of residency or work needed to get in(excepting comerce).

The police should be tasked with quick response from units when informed of Coughers or Sniffers by the general public, so they can take their details and direct them to the nearest testing centre and order that they and the people they abode with must be tested for C19 and self isolate until cleared.

That will make sure sick people don't mingle.... or if they do they are dealt with effectively and prudently asap.... too many times now we see or hear people like that out n about in the shops.... or people feelimg that they can enter a shop without using the hand sanitizer provided. On that note too we should be protesting the shops not providing safety measures like that by not entering them and choosing to spend our money only in the shops that facilitate safery properly for both tbeir employees and their customers alike. Then... and only then will we see propper safety happen for one and all.

Keep our health in your own hands and order that the powers to be comply with administration of propper policing of publicly sick individuals. O:)
