Looking for the yellow stuff

Living in north qld ,having a few pans and a sieve I have been poking around local rivers .Been getting a bit of fine gold and as I work my way up river a couple of sharper pieces . I am off to the palmer for a week at the end of the month ,to do a bit of detecting and am as keen as mustard. I will post my results ,hopefully not all bullets and tear tabs ,still love being out there

Hi Geezer
Saw an older post of yours re going up Palmer River way. Did you find it was a good place to detect as we are looking at going up June or July and any info would be greatly appreciated
