Hi all,the name is John and have just started having a go at swinging a detector.Ended up purchasing a gpx 4500 to start the learning curve with and I don't mind a challenge to work it out.Done the full day training out at Hill End a couple of weeks ago,got a few shotgun pellets,22's and other bits of trash.
Beside this new hobby I don't mind a bit of lure fishing for the humble bream,been doing bream tournaments for about 10 years and yes I do have one of those 100kph bass boats.Anyway just thought I'd g'day and hopefully might bump into a few member out in the field.

Welcome mate . I do better with a detector in my hand than a fishing rod but have tried catching bass in the everglades at the head of noosa river .They got me bait and i got 0 bass .
