I was just out on a Friday (occasional) night beverage walk when legging the last 300mtrs I hear a woman crying, what's this I ask myself, could this be a woman in distress? (well the answer was yes), I walk on to find a woman in the gutter crying her eyes out, almost vomiting from crying (gross I know). Anyways as I got closer to said woman when all of a sudden a police vehicle pulled up beside her, they jumped out and asked is she had a weapon on her in which she replied no. Then an ambulance arrived followed by another police car, woowzers.

Long story short, he said she just fell down the stairs and she was a liar liar pants on fire. I walked inside as they escorted her to see the dude in question. My beer was getting warm

Anyways, I'm telling you all this because my wife wasn't interested in hearing it

Who needs TV I say.

Nugget.

I was waiting for bullets and such but they just didn't happen (to smile or not to smile, that is the question??)

last time i went to see if a girl was ok from a domestic as they walked past our house the guy nearly smashed his bottle (girly cruzer) over my head but his gf yelled at him not to.
After that i walked back into the house and thought thats the last time im going to see if a skanky raymond terrace hoe needs any help.
I called the cops and they even told me not to even bother if it ever happens again....

what ever happened to the good deeds and the good ol'e Neighbor hood watch program thing ?

btw at the time i had a broken foot and in a space boot thing so i think thats the only reason why i didnt get the bottle to the head...

Moral of the story, dont let your beer get warm and just keep watching......

A cop stopped me & said license please so I offered him a donut & said I donut have one & we laughed & laughed & yeah well... send bail

You sure know how to make the best of a sticky situation

Its lucky you didnt have to put down your beer nugget or you would have had to open another can (this time it would be a can of whoopass :D)

You did the right thing Nugget. A cold beer is worth more than 50 domestics anytime ;)

My friends' young bloke was in court for busting up a lad who was beating up his girlfriend. It cost a lot of money to keep him out of the clink. The bloke beating up his girl was out of cctv sight but our friend happened to get caught on the video. The girl didn't help by not pressing charges against her boyfriend. She obviously didn't want to cop it again but you have to be very careful what you get involved in. :(
