Hey all dont know if this is the right spot to tell me story but bugger it! Haha. Went out to a new creek in the calliope area with the kids and a mate, we dug a couple of little holes around but only one little speck. Was just about to call it quits when we thought one last try and booya!! We got onto somthing. Nothing to go crazy about but enough to keep the gold digging bug happy!! Will be back again tomorow will try to remember to get some photos. Its me 4th attempt so must be doing somthing right.

Yep its a big reality shot when you realize the size of alluvial gold and how excited you actually get when you get 2 or 3 specks, I bet most quit before the 10th trip. I love it great scenery good times and some color, I reckon it costs a hundred bucks to get $20 worth :lol: :lol:
