Hi. I am trying to save time. I wish to gold prospect north east or east of melbourn (not too far) that I can find some gold. Does anyone have or know where I can get one.
I am looking for a good map showing creeks (not on probhibited list) showing the best area to try. You know.... one with an X that marks the spot.

Gold is where it is and you will never find it where its not.
Unsure on that region as im in nsw , but victoria does have good access to parks ect and finding them is as easy as googling the vic goverment sites.

you don't want the map with X on it.... everyone's got that one.
And when you do find an X..... keep mum on it hey !

The "X" your looking for is on a map that you haven't researched yet. The only reason I say it is if is was on anyone else's map it wouldn't be there anymore. So research is your kindest friend :Y: when it comes to asking for the "X" spot.

Well. I had to try.

All good you never know if you don't ask. After decent rain you could try Rushworth /Whroo fill a few buckets and set up at a dam. I know people who have had some good days. I'm not a wet gold man so can't offer much in the way of creeks /rivers or streams.

Ha ha might get into producing "X Spot Map's" :lol: and sell'em on the net. Nah to cruel I'm not type of person either.

Maybe you just answered your own query, All Locked Up.

Without stealing this thread have you got a few stories that you can start a new thread with, tittled the 80's or Old Days. Pretty sure plenty of people would like it if it's possible pictures would even make it more appealing :Y:.

I had a map years ago. That one made my nuggets grow too! Bacteria the doctor reckoned. He gave me anti-biotics.
