Just a quick hello

Hi everyone!
I've had a fascination with metal detecting since forever. I'm at a stage in my life where I have the time to take up the hobby I've watched from afar. I live in a great part of the country for both beach & relic hunting. I'm yet to buy my detector. Still doing some research as to what would be best for me. I'm thinking Garrett AT Pro as I will likely be walking the beach more often as I live only 300m from it. I love going through the what is it section. Love trying to work out the awesome finds that pop up on here. I look forward to hopefully being able to post some of my own finds soon

G'day Melc, you sure do live in a great spot, used to visit Valla Beach quite a lot. Garrett AT Pro gets a lot of good reports from owners, others will give advice on other machines too, so many good ones to choose from.

G'day Melc, welcome to the forum, I can't offer you any info on the detector you think would suit you but I feel there are others here that either have one or had one that will give you their opinions.
