Hi everyone, I thought I'd come on here and ask if there is actually any water at jupiter creek, I know there is a sluicing dam but that is fenced off. So yeah, if anyone's been there before would love to know so I can take my pans out one day.

Thanks! :D

If that is jupiter creek in SA It is mostly farm land and fairly unacessable except for one area which is fairly well done over. this was the impression I got when I last went there about 8 years ago.

Went there today for first time. Few people with detectors out. And a few fresh holes. All I had was a small shovel a bucket and some pans. Didn't find a water source but I was randomly walking around ( half got lost ) watch out a few mine shafts that aren't fenced in. Found some nice looking crystals. Did look like it has had a good going over recently, after the rains we have had maybe it has exposed some new stuff? Good day and great place. I thoroughly enjoyed myself down there. No gold found tho. But wasn't expecting any as it was my first time out.

Nice looking Sleepy Lizard there bloke. :)
I had two of them as pets as a young Fella.

No water source there. The Sluicing dam is fenced off, as is most of SA.
Yes its well worked over, but I do a pretty good job of clearing the site of bullet heads, shotgun pellets and drinks cans :| so others may find gold.
It IS FREE so cant complain, I guess.
Cheers,
Paul

There is a dam at Chapel Hill, just down the road, well, erm a bit of a muddy puddle which used to be a dam, was talking to a guy there last time I was there, he was panning with his kids and he got a couple of flakes.
Cheers,
Paul
