Hi Everyone, My name is Rod, nicname- Rocket.It would seem i caught a fever from one of my customers who showed me his bottle of gold recently.
Hoping to benefit from the knowledge of others inflicted by this seemingly enjoyable illness.
Where would be the best place to look at regulations and gear available.
Have the empty bottle so thats a start.

Welcome check out the diy section on here and you will be able to build some of the gear needed and it will be the right stuff there is some great gear being produced by members on here , good luck and go get some color

Hi Rocket,
My name is Ogg. From Sydney.
I'm new too. Been a prospector for almost 20 years.
Love the "industry" so much I quit everything and got a job on a drill rig in WA just to be on the gold. When I was there, a driller on R & R found a 26Kilo nugget. Over 880 oz in gold. Good on him. I hope to be next. I found 8 oz from about 1000 hours of detecting.
Be prepared to spend, spend, spend on fuel and stuff in the search of that elusive little golden sparkle.
And theres not just Gold to find. Sapphires, Rubies, Emeralds, Opal, Topaz, Zircons, Garnets and Diamonds. They're all out there.

The hardest thing in this enjoyable game is where to go. Hopefully someone will point you in the right direction. Unfortunately I haven't prospected for gold in QLD but Clermont may the place to start.

All I can say is I wish you the best in your endeavours, and that goes to every other prospector on this forum. Good luck everyone.
