I want to take my young girls gold panning in Victoria. I have had minimal success panning around Daylesford. Where in your opinion is the best spot to go gold panning in Victoria.

If you were hanging around Dalesford, then Creswick would be a good place to go but it's too dry at the moment.
Also are you interested in day trips or further away overnight trips?
