we, Lee and Mike, planing on getting all the gear we need to go remote places like Pilbara , just as an example. for a few weeks at the time. its not totally about finding lots of Gold, its about being out there and having fun. but we would like to have the right gear, like what GPS with maps and sos, or Handheld cb radios. we picked the detectors we want so that not an issue, just the money...
safety gear, sun protection, like hat, boots, snake bandages, or what picks. should we just go in a gold detecting shop? where are god shops, we live in the Gympie area, 300 km north of Brisbane.
yeah i know, a lot of questions, and, yes, i do a lot of research myself. but i can buy 3 times shitty stuff before i find something good, or i can ask for help or tips from people who are on it for years..
