Welcome to PA LouButch. I'm not sure about maps for fossicking per se, but maps for detecting are available at most metal detecting shops or on eBay.

Interesting handle. I remember back in about 1970 Lou (Richardson) and Butch (Alan Gale) used to commentate the VFL down in Melbourne, so your forum name brought Lou and Butch to mind.
