Intro newbie

Hi all, just getting into detecting as a bit of a hobby. Live in Melbourne but like to get out bush. Spend a lot of time in the Wodonga / Wangaratta area so hope there are areas to be explored in the region. Looking for my first machine, particularly looking for a GPX 4500, used, with all the bits. If anyone might know of one available in the Melbourne/ Geelong/Ballarat/Maryborough area, ideally still with some warranty would be ideal.
Otherwise while lm waiting Ill keep reading the posts on this site. Some really informative posts. Cheers

Hi Peter Boyd. As Jaras kindly mentioned I have one for sale. Used for a total of 6.5 hrs. Only selling because I don't get enough time to use it and I am trying to pay for a work van that I have.

Hi Wishful, sorry to hear you need to move this detector on. Looks to be in excellent condition. From what Im reading there is an absolute wealth of knowledge available here and it seems members are more than happy to share. In regards to your detector, what might you accept by way of an offer?
Would you have any idea of a freight cost to Melbourne??
