Some Windows customers may experience installation issues while trying to install or open iTunes 11.1.4. (Mine has stopped working altogether)

Symptoms may include:

"The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer"
"iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows Error 126)
"Runtime Error: R6034 - An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly"
"Entry point not found: videoTracks@QTMovie@@QBE?AV?$Vector@V?$RefPtr@VQTTrack@@@***@@$0A@VCrashOnOverf low@@***@@XZ could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\WebKit.dll

I am getting the first one.

here is a link to the fix, but it boils down that good old Apple iTunes on 11.1.4 needs admin rights.

hey loamer thats because apple products are c*ap will never use one again, samsung galaxy s2 still going strong after 3 years
dropped it a ton of times, fairly resistant to baby slobber also :D

I don't know what happened - iTunes was working a treat - then the new version - then nothing. Now a fix that requires them to have admin rights? Who do they think they are - Minelab!!??

its always the way with itunes they bring out a new update and your iphone/ipad/ipod is buggered till they fix the teething probs
that was actually the main reason i gave my iphone away wouldnt hold charge after a update, nothing wrong with battery etc just a software issue, they will continue to do it i would suggest steer clear lol but different strokes for different folks right? :)

lol, many application that if you would try and install under a standard user credentials within new windows OS would fail, due to the fact it needs administrative privelage to modify win registry etc...

I've got the iPhone 5s, I briefly had a s2 galaxy simply for watching movies thru the Mico SD card on the plane heading to work, I'll be buggered if I could use it to its true potential, iPhones are as simple as anything, brilliant in my opinion! But it's like makita v dewalt. Ford v Holden.... Garrett v Minelab, personal preference is key and who can argue with that? :p
