Just a quick g'day, newbie to all this even though when I was younger I was interested as the people up from my grandparents were right into gems etc.

Have had a good read and learnt a fair bit already even though most won't make sense until I get out there properly and get into it, mainly just panning to start with gotta save up for a detector.
