Hello I am brand new in here, but expect to make a contribution from time to time. I am a born and bread West Aussie and got hooked on detecting back around 1978-9. On moving to Carnarvon in 1999, I decided it had to be detecting or fishing and fishing won . Now after 15 years, I have got the bug back again and am waiting on my new Fisher Gold Bug DP with 11" and 5" coils to arrive . Then look out Cue, Marble Bar and Leonora etc, etc. Over my 9 years in Cue I calculated I had found something in excess of 80 Ozs over 9 years with my Whites, Fisher and Minelab detectors. Sooooooo, watch this space .

Welcome, there should be some good stories behind the 80oz to be told.

I found some wire and some tin cans at marble bar.

Not quite the same story as yours but looks like you are overqualified to share some experience over the coming months and make my next trip a success.
