Just got back into fossicking after many years off and love reading your site so thought it time to join. I have upgraded the ol Goldseeker 1500 and I also have an antique Whites Treasuremaster PI 1000. Both need to go in the bin.
I am a kiwi back living in NZ but plan on going back to Aussie soon for a fossick. I spent a lot of time detecting in Sydney and the gold coast in the 1980s and working with mineral companies in the W.A. desert and Arnem land in the 1970s.I love camping in the Aussie desert. I can help if anyone is coming to NZ and wants to know a few spots to detect for gold.
